Now that the entire world is at a standstill, it is a perfect opportunity to rethink your life. Scarcity begets scarcity. Now is the time to be optimistic. You can rebuild your life.
You can’t stop life from throwing things your way. You can’t stop the unexpected from interfering with your plans and goals. But you can choose how you respond. Practice switching to a healthier state of mind when unwanted things happen.
Studies have shown that optimists have superior health and less stress (yes, even in difficult times). Optimists bounce back faster and have more persistence. Optimists spread joy.
I have been able to assist numerous clients in turning their lives around for the better. We can start by exploring what it is you were meant to do; i.e., what would make you enjoy life and simultaneously earn a living doing it.
Then we write a résumé (which gets your foot in the door) and work on interviewing techniques so you know what to say and which questions to ask during the interview (which gets you the position). We will work on job search strategies as well to ensure you land in the right place.
Is it hard work? Definitely, but your life can be turned around for the best. It is not an overnight solution, but it is hopeful. It is important to remain optimistic.
A few years ago I was in a similar situation to what some of you may be experiencing now: the bottom had fallen out. But be optimistic. I didn’t know it at the time, but it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Forced to take action, I have since obtained several accreditations in the career field and have been published in more than 35 books as well as in CareerJournal.com (the Wall Street’s Business Journal).
I am a multilingual career coach who just created a brand new program on career transition. At present, it is a six-week program devoted to career exploration, job search strategies, interviewing techniques, and salary negotiations.
I designed this program because so many people are at a loss as to what to do right now. Some may have lost their job; some are frustrated or down right unhappy at work. This is an ideal time (although it may not seem like that) to change career direction or become an entrepreneur.
I was where you are at this point in your life. The rug was pulled out from under her a few years ago which caused her to hit rock bottom. So I understand the journey you have to take and the work it requires. I also know that it can be accomplished. I am empathetic and have your best interest at heart.
Working with me, you will find a position a lot faster. To that end I have a free webinar that will be offered on Monday, November 23, 2020, at 1 p.m. EST. Email me at myriam-rose@jedaenterprises.com or call me at 661-253-0801 if you are interested so that I may send you the link.
